Important information about accommodation and travel

Flight

The easiest option when flying is to travel to Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup), which offers a wide range of direct flights from many destinations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. From Copenhagen Airport, you can take a direct train across the Öresund Bridge to Malmö Central Station. The journey takes around 20 minutes with no need to change trains.

You can also fly to Malmö Airport; however, there are fewer flight connections compared to Copenhagen, and you may need to arrange additional transfers to reach Malmö city centre.

Train

If you are arriving by train, you will arrive at Malmö Central Station, which is located in the city centre. Trains to and from Malmö connect directly to Copenhagen Airport, making it easy to continue your journey if you are flying in or out via Kastrup.

Buses

If you choose to travel by bus, you will also arrive at Malmö Central Station, ensuring a smooth arrival in the city centre.

Other information

Campus Niagara and Orkanen, as well as the nearby hotels, are all within walking distance from Malmö Central Station, making your arrival and stay convenient and smooth.

Accommodation

Several hotels are located in central Malmö within walking distance of the conference venue at Campus Niagara and Orkanen. Nearly all hotels are just a few blocks from each other, close to the canal and within easy reach of the city’s restaurants, cafés, galleries, and parks.

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation directly through the hotels’ websites or other booking platforms. Hotel rates typically include breakfast, service, and VAT, and payment is made directly to the hotel. We recommend booking your accommodation well in advance, as there may be many events taking place in Malmö during the conference period.
