When shit hits the fan- Communication during a cyber attack

In February 2024 a cyber-attack was made on Reykjavik University. During the days and weeks following the attack a task force worked hard on effectively communicating to students, staff, stakeholders and the media. In this seminar we will discuss Communication’s role in task forces such as these and its role in Crisis Management. The seminar will be led by Asthildur Gunnarsdottir, Communications Director at Reykjavik University, and Sunna Kristin Hilmarsdottir, former Project Manager at Reykjavik University and currently Project Manager of Policy and Communications and the Ministry of Industries.
